Despite the bankrupt crisis in Detroit, the local watch maker Shinonla seems to be going strong.  Shinola appears to be in fine health with the launch of its first New York City flagship in TriBeCa.

The Motor City's company filled its 2000 square-feet retail space with new lines of domestically-made watches, leather goods, bicycles and stationary.
